National Forum Seminars at DIT

DIT LTTC has once again been successful in securing funding from the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning for its annual Seminar Series.

Three seminars have been funded, and the first of these took place on 29th October, with Dr Samantha Pugh of the University of Leeds speaking on ‘Rethinking the dissertation as a way to develop and assess student research and enterprise skills in STEM disciplines’. Samantha also ran a workshop with the participants on the CPD module on Academic Leadership in Learning Teaching & Assessment and shared a wealth of examples and suggestions on developing undergraduate research and enterprise skills throughout the curriculum.
