CPDs starting in Jan 2016 – Dates for your new diary!

As we approach the end of 2015, you might be reflecting on the semester and planning for the year ahead. The LTTC have three more CPDs commencing in January 2016 which may be of interest:

Supervising Undergraduate Dissertations and Projects –Strategies for supervisor development at all levels of experience will be explored within this module. It aims to deepen and extend the study and exploration of good supervisory practices at undergraduate level.
When: Wed, Jan 20th and Tuesdays March 1st, 8th & 15th Times: 10am-1pm.

Learning, Teaching and Assessment -This is a practical module designed for new lecturers or those who may have been teaching for a number of years and are interested in taking a fresh look at their approach to teaching.
When: Thursdays 10am-5pm: Jan 21st and March 31st. Online activities will engage participants throughout..as well as a micro-teaching session.

Assessment and Feedback –Drawing upon relevant theory and shared knowledge, participants will develop skills to be able to reflect upon their current assessment and feedback practice and to undertake a module assessment redesign. When: Jan 26th, Feb 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd. Times: 10am-1pm.

Trends in eLearning Technology – The pace of change in the deployment of technologies is such that it is near impossible to keep abreast of developments in practice. This module is designed to help participants to engage with emerging technologies at both theoretical and practical levels. When: Jan 26th, Feb 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd. Times: 10am-1pm.
